(DISCLAIMER): "Lansing Community College (LCC) does not have an official "varsity" team on campus for wrestling, but rather a "club-team" that remains in "active status" there while training on its own "off-site". Additionally, there are no types of scholarships, stipends, or assistance of any kind offered, promised, or allowed for any reason at any time. Members, in fact, must be officially registered students in "good standing" as deemed by the college for the semester('s) in question to be considered official. And lastly, the actual name of this program is LCC Wrestling.
"ALL STATE" wrestler without a "full ride" upon graduation? MOST AREN'T, in fact, out of an average 11,000 or more from Michigan alone, less than 5% actually attain such. Yet, many of us still wish to go on for MORE, a career, a college degree, more successful training and wrestling competition, etc. But, how do we then afford it without even a partial scholarship (or none at all!)? Moving & relocation, inability to then commute, food, lodging, books, parking, tuition, & more all add up quick at a major university. And, being away from home, friends, family, and all that 1 knows & trusts can be even worse - until NOW. Enter LCC Wrestling. We're your bridge, that intermediary between H.S. graduation & college transfer to still a major, 4 year university.
Stay local & be able to afford to do it, get your associates degree along the way while training to be the best wrestler around. A second chance of sorts, we assist those interested in achieving these goals after H.S. graduation: college wrestling on a national level of exposure (in THREE styles if interested), college degree (& or certifications), & all by time of graduation, & or transferring. Start "smaller and finish BIG", afford to do it on the way, & remain local through it all where you're comfortable. You can do it all through us, but only if you're READY. Are you? COME SHOW US. It is what YOU make it here with us.
